  If I could give this place less than one star, I would! I've already had a root canal because of the damage they've caused. I've waited 5 weeks for my permanent crowns, only to find out today that they've lost the impressions of my teeth...yep, the teeth that ARE NO MORE because they have been drilled down in preparation for the crowns that won't be coming. So now I am seeing another $$$$ dentist who can digitally create teeth, since my originals have been whittled down. No apologies...in fact, they've told 3 different stories as to the whereabouts of the crowns. Please don't make my irreversible mistake!

  I was an emergency patient at Dental Excellence of Murfreesboro on Sunday 08/06/17, due to the fact my primary dentist office was closed. During my visit I was informed I needed an emergency extraction on molar 14. The Crown I had on molar #13 was broken off during the extraction of molar #14 by the Dr. who treated me at Dental excellence. The Dr. stated to me, witnessed by his assistant on 08/06/17, that Dental excellence would cover the cost of the crown on 13 due to collateral damage during the extraction of molar #14. I elected to have the repair work provided by my primary dentist. I requested reimbursement from Dental excellence of Murfreesboro on 08/17/17, to cover the cost for my primary dentist to repair the damaged crown # 13. I received no response from Dental excellence. I called Dental Excellence again on 08/21/17 and spoke to the desk associate Julie regarding this issue. Julie informed me that Dental Excellence would only pay for the damage they caused if I had the repair done at their office. Julie expressed that she contacted the office manager Bailey and confirmed that they would not pay to have my primary dentist do the repair work. I question the legality of the position that Dental Excellence is taking? I went to visit my primary dentist on 08/22/17 to have them review the work performed by Dental Excellence on 08/06/17. My dentist is concerned that the root may also have been damaged on molar #13 and may need to have a root canal performed before the repair to the molar can be made? My dentist also noted that the Dr. at Dental Excellence fractured a portion of my jaw during the extraction of molar #14. The quote from my primary dentist to repair the damage caused by Dental Excellence of Murfreesboro TN on 08/06/2017 is $1483.40. I have been left with a fractured jaw, broken off crown and jagged nub of a tooth since 08/06/17. My advice is to avoid this office and seek dental care at a different location. This claim has been sent to my dental insurance provider for review.
