- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Four stars on Operation., Doctor, Facility. I had to insist on an ice pack. Sweet nurse assistant walking us out said they were out of them, but doctor specifically told me to make sure we used one given. We didn't leave until one was found. DOUBLE/TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ESTIMATE given at time of surgery scheduling and then double/triple check AGAIN. We were quoted the same estimate of $90.63 THREE DIFFERENT times. Then, a month after surgery, was sent a bill for over $600. Within a few weeks, a lower bill of $327.83 was sent, deductions from 'write offs', in which I understand since I teach Accounting. I understand an estimate is an 'estimate', but $90 is very different from $327. There were no complications throughout surgery to warrant extra cost. When we questioned the bill, we were told we were given the wrong quote previously, obviously given wrong quote THREE times. PLEASE double/triple check what they say. Not sure what's going on within their office/billing department, but definitely not ethical to give quote (on paper once and over phone twice) and then increase bill amount with only explanation of 'you were given the wrong quote'.
